Welcome to Interior Ethos ("Company", "we", "our", or "us"). These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of our website, services, and digital products (collectively, the “Services”). By using our Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

Please read these Terms carefully before using our Services.​​

1. Eligibility

By using our Services, you represent and warrant that you are at least 18 years old and have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement.

2. Services Provided

Interior Ethos offers online interior decorating services, including but not limited to:​

• Custom floor plans

• E-design packages

• Mood boards

• 3D Renderings

• Elevations

• Design resources

• Drop shipping and wholesale items

All services are provided remotely unless otherwise stated.

All 3D renderings will not display exact products but rather will be representative of the items. Though we work hard to ensure our models are as close as possible to items on your shopping list, there may be some slight differences.

3. Booking and Payment

• All services must be paid in full at the time of booking unless otherwise specified.

• Payments are accepted through all major credit card institutions and e-transfer.

• Prices are subject to change at any time, but you will be charged based on the rate at the time of purchase.

• All sales are final. Due to the digital and personalized nature of our services, refunds on all services are not offered. We understand unexpected circumstances can arise and we will work with you to achieve a fair outcome.

• Refunds on merchandise will be given in accordance with the products merchandiser and distributers.

4. Client Responsibilities

To ensure the best results, you agree to:

• Provide accurate and complete information about your space, style, and preferences.

• Submit requested photos, measurements, and inspiration materials on time.

• Communicate promptly throughout the project.

Failure to meet these responsibilities may result in delays or limitations in the final design delivery.

5. Turnaround Time

Estimated delivery timelines will be a 2 week turn around from the time the completed questionnaire is received. These are estimates only and may vary based on project scope, client responsiveness, and work load/ availability of the designer.

6. Intellectual Property

All content provided as part of our Services—including designs, drawings, mood boards, layouts, and written materials—remain the intellectual property of Interior Ethos.

You are granted a personal, non-transferable license to use the materials for your own styling needs. You may not reproduce, sell, or distribute our content without our written permission.

7. Design Limitations

Please note:

• We do not provide architectural services, structural advice, or contractor recommendations.

• Any product suggestions are subject to availability and price changes.

• We are not responsible for any purchases made by the client based on our suggestions.

• Any DIY attempts discussed with the designer are carried out at your own risk. The client is responsible for doing their own research and taking any necessary safety precautions. 

Interior Ethos provides interior decorating services focused solely on aesthetics, décor, space planning, and non-structural recommendations. We are not licensed architects, engineers, or contractors, and therefore we do not provide structural engineering services, architectural services, or load-bearing assessments. We do not evaluate, interpret, or ensure compliance with building codes, zoning regulations, safety requirements, or permit obligations. Any suggestions involving demolition, construction, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, or other structural or mechanical work must be reviewed and approved by the appropriate licensed professionals. The client is solely responsible for obtaining all necessary permits, inspections, and approvals related to any construction or structural modifications. Interior Ethos is not liable for damages, delays, or issues arising from structural changes, contractor work, code non-compliance, or any actions taken outside the scope of our interior design services. By engaging our services, the client acknowledges and agrees to these terms.

8. Third-Party Products and Services

Our design packages may include links to third-party products or services. We do not control or guarantee the performance or availability of any third-party offerings and are not responsible for any issues arising from their use.

9. Termination

We reserve the right to refuse or terminate service at any time for any reason, including but not limited to violation of these Terms, abusive behavior, or non-payment.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

Our Services are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee that the designs will meet your expectations or that all suggested products will be available or defect-free.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Interior Ethos shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of or related to your use of our Services.

12. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Canada, without regard to its conflict of law principles.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Your continued use of our Services constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
